How we work

Every project is different, but here is an overview of our process, to give you an idea of how we work. You can read more about us and our ethos on our about page.

Initial Consultation

Tim will start by listening, asking questions and discussing design and layout ideas for your new kitchen, drawing on his experience in the trade to provide advice on possible options and their feasibility and practicality. Where appropriate, we will discuss any structural changes, such as removing a wall between a kitchen and dining room, to create a more open plan living space.

Meeting with Kitchen Supplier

To make the process as efficient as possible, you will be able to meet directly with our kitchen supplier to decide on your choice of kitchen units, worktops, appliances and fittings. For some projects, it makes sense to combine this with the meeting above. We normally work with and highly recommend Howdens Kitchens, although we are happy to discuss alternatives if you already have a preferred supplier. The kitchen surveyor will also measure up your kitchen; measurements will be used to create 3D visuals giving you an impression of how the finished kitchen will look.

Finalise Products & Finishes

Once the layout plan is agreed, you will have the opportunity to visit our kitchen supplier’s showroom to finalise your product choices. We will then finalise plans and provide a quotation for supply and fit of the kitchen.

Kitchen Construction

The kitchen construction will take place over an agreed timescale and will be managed by Tim himself. All fitting, plumbing and tiling are undertaken by our in-house team, complimented by a reliable team of plasterers, floorers and electricians – all of whom we know and trust to bring about high quality results. Our aim is to provide a polite, friendly on-site service with as little disruption as possible. Our customers appreciate the tidy, quiet and reliable way in which we work and also our constructive and positive approach to problem-solving.

Tim recently upgraded my 25 year old kitchen brilliantly. It looks completely new and I am thrilled with it. He was very easy to work with and had some great ideas for it and the estimate he gave me was adhered to. Tim has some excellent people working with him and they all did a very professional job. Once they had started the work, they were there until it was finished and came back for the inevitable snagging list a couple of weeks later. Tim was also very accurate about how long the kitchen would take to do. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
